The resinous bark of Croton species, known locally as 'sangre de drago,' weeps crimson sap that has commanded respect in indigenous healing traditions for millennia.

The resinous bark of Croton species, known locally as 'sangre de drago,' weeps crimson sap that has commanded respect in indigenous healing traditions for millennia. Wild-harvested from Honduras' tropical forests, this bark carries profound ancestral wisdom about protection, sealing, and restoration.

Revered for its dramatic appearance and potent traditional applications, it is carefully processed to maintain the resin's integrity and color. Offered in bark pieces, free from synthetic resins or chemical stabilizers.

How to Use

How to Use

Topical Application (Direct Resin - Primary Use)

If using raw Dragon's Blood resin or bark, prepare a topical wash by simmering 2-3 pieces of bark in 2 cups (500ml) of water for 15-20 minutes. Strain and allow to cool. Apply the liquid directly to wounds, cuts, skin irritations, or affected areas using a clean cloth or cotton pad. The astringent resin supports wound closure and traditional healing.

For Wound Healing & Hemostasis

Apply Dragon's Blood wash or diluted resin directly to minor cuts, scrapes, or wounds 2-3 times daily. The natural compounds traditionally support blood clotting and skin regeneration.

Oral Use (Diluted Decoction - Traditional)

Prepare a mild decoction by simmering 1-2 small pieces of Dragon's Blood bark in 2 cups (500ml) of water for 10 minutes. Strain well. Drink 1/4 to 1/2 cup 1-2 times daily for traditional gastrointestinal support and diarrhea relief.

Primary Use

Dragon's Blood is traditionally used topically. Oral consumption should be done with caution and in small amounts.

Caution

May cause nausea or bitter taste when consumed orally. Start with small amounts to assess tolerance.
