1. About Forestal MT
Who is Forestal MT and where do your products come from?
A 100% family-owned Honduran ethnobotanical exporter, based in San Francisco de la Paz, Olancho, since 2009. Our roots go back to the 1990s, when our founder began caring for thousands of hectares of Honduran forest as a generational responsibility. In 2018, while working with Miskito territorial councils in La Mosquitia, community leaders gifted us two bottles of traditional Batana Oil — a gesture that changed the direction of everything. Today, we source directly from indigenous Miskito and Mayan communities across La Mosquitia and the Honduran highlands. No brokers, no intermediaries, no guesswork about origin. Forest to your door, with a clear chain you can verify.
What makes Forestal MT different from other botanical suppliers?
We are the source — not a middleman. We partner directly with the indigenous communities who have harvested and processed these botanicals for generations. We know the harvesters, the forests, the seasonal rhythms, and every step of the process. That gives you full traceability, consistent quality, and the authentic cultural story that gives these products their real value — something no reseller can manufacture.
What collections do you offer?
Three collections, each rooted in a distinct indigenous tradition:
- Batana Oil — Ancestral Miskito Elixir: Wild-harvested Elaeis oleifera kernel oil from La Mosquitia. 4 SKUs covering hair care, skin care, and beard care — from pure raw oil to finished retail products.
- Stingless Bee Honey — The Maya Heritage: Raw, unfiltered Jimerito honey (Tetragonisca angustula) from ancestral log hives in Honduran forests. Prized for wellness traditions and culinary use for over 3,000 years.
- Traditional Herbs — Sacred Wisdom Rooted in Nature: 41 wildcrafted, shade-dried botanical varieties from Honduran cloud forests, tropical lowlands, and coastal ecosystems — ideal for herbalists, formulators, and natural lifestyle brands.
How does Forestal MT support indigenous communities?
Direct partnership with no intermediaries — fair compensation flows straight to the people who hold and practice this ancestral knowledge. We partner with Miskito harvesters in La Mosquitia and other indigenous communities, supporting sustainable wild-harvesting that protects ecosystems and ensures regeneration for future generations. We return to these communities and share in their growth, making forest stewardship economically worthwhile for the people closest to the land. When you buy from Forestal MT, you directly support rural livelihoods in Olancho and La Mosquitia.
What certifications and credentials does Forestal MT hold?
We provide verifiable origin documentation with every export: Certificates of Origin (COO), Phytosanitary Certificates where applicable, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and Certificates of Analysis (COA) on request. We export to 23+ countries under international commercial standards. If you need something specific for your market or regulatory environment, reach out before placing your order and we’ll confirm what’s available.
How long has Forestal MT been in business?
Since 2009 — 17 years of continuous operation as a registered Honduran exporter. Our founder’s relationship with these forests and communities goes back even further, to the 1990s. That depth of experience is why we can guarantee consistent quality and reliable supply at scale.
What countries does Forestal MT export to?
We ship to 23+ countries across North America, Central and South America, Europe (EU and non-EU), the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. All shipments go via DHL Express with full tracking. Specific destination availability depends on local botanical import regulations — contact us before ordering if you’re uncertain about your country.
2. Batana Oil — Ancestral Miskito Elixir
What is Batana Oil, and what makes it so special?
A pure, unrefined oil extracted from the kernel of the American Palm (Elaeis oleifera), wild-harvested in La Mosquitia, Honduras by Miskito communities. For generations, the Miskito people have used it to restore hair strength, deeply hydrate skin, and condition beards. Our relationship with these communities was born from a gift of two bottles they offered us in 2018. It’s not a trendy extract or a lab-engineered product — it’s a living tradition sourced directly from harvesters who know these palms, these forests, and this craft better than anyone on earth.
What does “pure and unrefined” actually mean?
No bleaching, deodorizing, or chemical processing of any kind. What you receive is the oil exactly as the Miskito have used it for centuries — warm, aromatic, and nutritionally intact, with its full natural profile of essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamin E. We also offer a cold-pressed version for cosmetic formulators who need a cleaner, more standardized profile. Both methods come with authentic origin and full traceability.
What hair types benefit most from Batana Oil?
Curly, coily, dry, and chemically treated hair — the types that naturally crave deep, lasting moisture. Its rich fatty acid profile delivers nourishment in a different category than lighter oils like argan or jojoba. That said, anyone dealing with dryness, breakage, or dull, lifeless hair will notice a real difference. It also works beautifully as a beard treatment and a direct skin moisturizer.
How do I use Batana Oil in my routine?
A few drops go a long way. As a pre-shampoo treatment, apply root to tip, leave it for 30–60 minutes (or overnight), then wash as usual. As a finishing oil, warm a small amount between your palms and work it through damp or dry ends to seal in moisture and add shine. For skin and beard, apply directly and massage in gently. Because it’s unrefined and genuinely rich, it works at small doses — more isn’t always better here.
What products does the Batana Oil Collection include?
Four SKUs designed for flexible options, whether you’re a consumer, a formulator, or a retail brand:
- Raw Batana Oil (FMT-BO-RBO) — 100% pure Elaeis oleifera kernel oil, nothing added or removed
- Batana Oil Hair Wash (FMT-BO-SH) — a gentle, nourishing shampoo enriched with Batana Oil
- Batana Oil Conditioner (FMT-BO-CO) — a restorative, smoothing conditioner for detangling, shine, and lasting moisture
- Batana Oil Soap Bar (FMT-BO-SB) — handcrafted in La Mosquitia using a traditional Miskito recipe
How does Batana Oil compare to argan or coconut oil?
Richer and more deeply nourishing than either. Argan oil is lighter and excellent for shine; coconut oil excels at moisture sealing on the surface. Batana Oil sits in a different category — it was used specifically for restoration, and its fatty acid and antioxidant profile reflects that. Think of it as the oil for hair that needs serious care, not just a glossy finish. Beyond performance, it also carries something argan and coconut can’t offer: a genuine indigenous origin story with centuries of real-world use behind it.
Can Batana Oil be used as an ingredient in cosmetic formulations?
Absolutely. The raw oil is available in bulk for cosmetic formulators, beauty brands, and OEM manufacturers. It integrates well with other botanical oils and active ingredients, and its distinctive amber color and aroma can serve as both a functional ingredient and a brand narrative. We supply wholesale quantities with consistent batch quality, origin documentation, and full traceability. Custom private label on finished products is also available.
Does Batana Oil have a strong scent?
Yes — unrefined Batana Oil has a distinctive, earthy, slightly smoky aroma from the traditional Miskito processing method. It’s natural and unmistakable: if your Batana Oil doesn’t smell like anything, it’s probably been refined or isn’t the real thing. The scent fades after washing out a hair treatment, and many users come to associate it with the oil’s potency. Our cold-pressed version carries a milder, cleaner scent profile for those who prefer a subtler experience or need a more neutral base for cosmetic formulations.
How should I store Batana Oil, and what is its shelf life?
Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight — a cupboard or pantry is ideal. Unrefined Batana Oil has a shelf life of approximately 18–24 months when stored properly. The oil may solidify or thicken in cooler temperatures, which is completely normal for an unrefined, natural oil. Gently warm it between your palms or place the container in warm water to restore its liquid consistency. Keep the lid tightly sealed to prevent oxidation.
Can Batana Oil be used on skin and face?
Yes — Batana Oil is an effective facial and body moisturizer. Its rich concentration of oleic acid, antioxidants, and vitamin E deeply nourishes dry skin, helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, and supports a healthy skin barrier. Apply a small amount directly and massage in gently. For facial use, start with 2–3 drops to avoid over-application, as the oil is highly concentrated. It is also effective for dry elbows, knees, and hands.
Is Batana Oil safe for children?
Batana Oil is a pure, natural oil with no synthetic additives, making it generally suitable for external use on children’s hair and skin. However, as with any new product, perform a small patch test on the child’s inner arm and wait 24 hours before broader application. For infants under 12 months, consult a pediatrician before use. Avoid contact with eyes.
3. Stingless Bee Honey — The Maya Heritage
What is Jimerito honey, and why is it different from regular honey?
Honey from Tetragonisca angustula, a native stingless bee species found in Honduran forests — an entirely different insect from the European honey bee most people know. Naturally tangy rather than just sweet, thinner in texture, harvested in small quantities from tiny honey pots inside wild log hives. It carries over 3,000 years of Mayan cultural and ceremonial significance. It’s not a variation of regular honey — it’s a category of its own, and there’s simply nothing else like it on the market.
How is Jimerito honey different from the regular honey we all know?
The differences are fundamental, not cosmetic. The honey most people buy comes from Apis mellifera — the European honey bee. Jimerito comes from Tetragonisca angustula, a native stingless bee:
- Taste: Tangy-sweet with complex, almost citrus-like notes — versus uniform sweetness
- Texture: Thinner and more liquid, due to higher natural moisture content
- Volume: A stingless bee colony produces 1–2 liters per year versus 20–30+ for Apis mellifera — explaining the rarity and price
- Bioactive profile: Higher concentrations of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and antioxidants with documented antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory properties
- Cultural depth: 3,000+ years of continuous use in Mayan ceremony, medicine, and daily life
They share a name, but they are not the same thing.
Why is it called “Jimerito” in Honduras?
“Jimerito” is the Honduran folk name for Tetragonisca angustula — the tiny, stingless bee that produces this honey. In Honduras, people say miel de jimerito, and everyone knows exactly what that means. The name carries generations of local knowledge: where to find the hives, when to harvest, how to handle the honey. It’s a word rooted in the everyday life of rural Honduran communities, especially in Olancho and the eastern highlands. We kept the name because it’s authentic — it tells you where this honey comes from and who has cared for it.
Why is Stingless Bee Honey connected to the Maya civilization?
The Maya built a civilization-level relationship with these bees over 3,000 years. Meliponiculture (stingless beekeeping) was central to Mesoamerican life. The Maya called the Jimerito bee ko’olel kaab — “royal lady” — and the honey held sacred status: used in religious ceremonies, offered to the bee deity Ah Muzen Cab, served as a medium of exchange, and played a central role in seasonal wellness rituals. Traditional log hives (jobones) were passed down through generations like family heirlooms. That cultural lineage is not a marketing story — it’s a historical fact.
What are the proven benefits of Stingless Bee Honey?
Scientifically documented benefits backed by peer-reviewed research, validating what indigenous communities have known for millennia:
- Eye health support: Topical stingless bee honey resolved bacterial conjunctivitis with potency comparable to gentamicin (Ilechie et al., Journal of Experimental Pharmacology, 2012)
- Immune defense: Increased lymphocyte proliferation and reduced inflammatory markers IL-6 and TNF-alpha (Saudi Journal of Biological Sciences, 2022)
- Anti-inflammatory action: Reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines and promoted anti-inflammatory IL-10 secretion (Cell Biochemistry and Biophysics, 2024)
- Wound healing: Greater collagen deposition and wound closure in treated groups (2025); systematic review confirmed efficacy across multiple studies (MedRxiv, 2025)
- Antimicrobial properties: Confirmed antibacterial and antifungal activity attributed to hydrogen peroxide, natural acidity, and bioactive flavonoids (Food and Chemical Toxicology, 2025)
This isn’t folk wisdom dressed up as science — it’s folk wisdom that science is now validating.
Can Jimerito honey really help with eye conditions?
The traditional use is real and documented across centuries of Mayan and Central American practice — for cataracts, pterygium, conjunctivitis, and general eye comfort. Modern research supports part of this tradition: the 2012 Ilechie et al. study showed stingless bee honey cleared bacterial conjunctivitis as effectively as gentamicin, and a 2022 Pharmaceuticals review documented antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties in ocular tissue. Most studies are animal or in vitro models — no large-scale human clinical trials specific to stingless bee honey eye drops exist yet. We recommend consulting an eye care professional before any ocular application.
How does Stingless Bee Honey support the immune system?
Through measurable biological mechanisms — not vague wellness marketing. Stingless bee honey is rich in phenolic compounds and flavonoids that modulate immune response. The 2022 immunomodulatory study showed it boosted lymphocyte activity while simultaneously suppressing overactive inflammatory signaling (IL-6 and TNF-alpha). A 2020 Food Research International study found elevated phenolic and flavonoid concentrations compared to conventional honey, directly correlated with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity. In practical terms: it supports your body’s natural defense systems without overstimulating them.
Is Stingless Bee Honey safe to consume and apply topically?
Safe for both oral and topical use, with over 3,000 years of documented human use — a safety record no clinical trial can match. Modern research confirms it is non-cytotoxic and well-tolerated. Standard precautions: do not give any honey to infants under 12 months (botulism risk), exercise caution with bee product or pollen allergies, and consult a healthcare provider if pregnant or managing a health condition. For eye applications, consult an eye care professional first.
How is the honey harvested? Do the bees get harmed?
No harm to the colony. Indigenous beekeepers use traditional Mayan methods: carefully selecting honey chambers from wild log hives, gently extracting while protecting the colony, lightly straining to remove wax, and letting the honey rest naturally. Patience over speed, care over volume. Every step prioritizes colony health and the surrounding forest ecosystem.
Can Jimerito honey be used as an ingredient in wellness or skincare formulations?
Yes — its unique bioactive profile makes it compelling for both wellness and cosmetic applications. Elevated antioxidants, antimicrobial compounds, and anti-inflammatory flavonoids give it functional value that standard honey can’t match. The 2025 wound-healing research demonstrated accelerated tissue repair and collagen formation. For formulators and product developers, its small-batch origin and 3,000-year cultural depth add storytelling appeal. Contact us for ingredient specifications and bulk supply options.
How should I store Jimerito honey, and does it crystallize?
Store in a cool, dark place in a sealed glass container — refrigeration is recommended after opening to preserve bioactive compounds due to its naturally higher moisture content. Unlike conventional honey, stingless bee honey does not crystallize because of its different sugar composition and elevated moisture levels. It remains naturally liquid and pourable. Properly stored, it maintains its quality for 12–18 months. Avoid contamination by using a clean, dry utensil each time.
What does Jimerito honey taste like?
Tangy-sweet with complex, layered flavor notes — floral, slightly citrus, sometimes with a mild fermented undertone. It tastes nothing like the uniform sweetness of regular honey. The flavor profile varies subtly between harvests depending on the flowering season and the forest ecosystem the bees foraged in. Many first-time tasters describe it as surprisingly refreshing and unlike any honey they’ve had before.
4. Traditional Herbs — Sacred Wisdom Rooted in Nature
What does “wildcrafted” mean, and why does it matter?
Gathered from the plant’s natural habitat — forests, riversides, and native ecosystems — not grown on farms or controlled plots. Our herbs come from biodiverse regions across Honduras and the Caribbean, collected by hand by indigenous and rural communities who know these plants by name, season, and place. Wild plants grow without synthetic inputs, in the soil and climate they evolved in, harvested at peak natural maturity. That’s a meaningfully different starting point from commodity agriculture — and it shows in the quality.
What does “shade-dried” mean, and how does it affect the product?
Herbs are dried slowly in cool, well-ventilated spaces, protected from direct sunlight, strong wind, and moisture. This slow, indirect process preserves the volatile oils, aromas, colors, and botanical compounds that direct heat would degrade. The result is herbs that look, smell, and perform closer to their fresh-picked state. It takes more time and care than industrial tunnel drying — and the difference is real.
How many varieties are in the Traditional Herbs Collection, and what traditions are they rooted in?
41 wildcrafted varieties, all sourced from Honduras. The collection draws on indigenous and mestizo ethnobotanical traditions spanning Central America and the Caribbean — including globally recognized herbs like Cat’s Claw, Moringa, Soursop Leaves, Sarsaparilla, and Pau D’Arco Bark, alongside regionally significant plants like Cocolmeca, Palo Guaco, Contribo, and Kalawalla Root. Each herb carries its local name, traditional context, and the care of the people who gathered it.
What formats do the herbs come in?
Whole, chopped, cut, cubed, and crushed formats — whichever best suits your intended use or production process. Whole leaves and stems are ideal for traditional infusions and retail display. Chopped and cut formats work well for extraction, tea blending, and botanical product development. Crushed formats suit tinctures and concentrated preparations. Specific format requests can be accommodated for wholesale and bulk orders.
Are these herbs safe to use? Is there anything buyers should know?
Our herbs are sold for traditional and herbal use, in the same way communities across Central America have used them for generations — as teas, decoctions, and botanical preparations. They are not medical products and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Individual sensitivities vary, and some herbs may interact with medications or may not be appropriate during pregnancy. We recommend consulting a qualified herbalist or healthcare provider, especially for ongoing use.
How do you protect the ecosystems you source from?
Sustainability is built into the sourcing model, not bolted on afterward. Indigenous and rural collectors carry deep generational knowledge of these ecosystems — they know which species are abundant, when to harvest, and how to preserve root systems for regrowth. We pay fair prices and return to these communities, making forest stewardship economically worthwhile for the people closest to the land. Conservation that compensates the communities who protect it is conservation that actually lasts.
What is the connection to Dr. Sebi’s legacy?
Dr. Sebi (Alfredo Darrington Bowman) was a Honduran herbalist who built an internationally recognized tradition around alkaline, plant-based wellness — drawing heavily on wildcrafted herbs from Central America and the Caribbean. Many of the plants in our collection overlap directly with what he championed. We honor his legacy as a tribute to the broader tradition of Central American ethnobotanical wisdom, not as a therapeutic claim.
How do I prepare herbal teas or decoctions from your herbs?
For teas (infusions), place 1–2 teaspoons of dried herb in a cup, pour boiling water over it, cover, and steep for 10–15 minutes. Strain and drink. For decoctions (roots, bark, or woody material), simmer 1–2 tablespoons in 2 cups of water for 15–30 minutes on low heat, strain, and let cool slightly before drinking. Stronger preparations may call for longer simmering times. Always start with small amounts to assess your personal tolerance.
What is the shelf life of dried herbs, and how should I store them?
Properly stored dried herbs maintain their quality for 12–24 months. Store in airtight containers in a cool, dark, dry place — away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat sources. Glass jars with tight lids or resealable foil pouches work best. Avoid storing near the stove or in humid environments. Signs of degradation include significant color fading, loss of aroma, or visible moisture. Whole herbs generally last longer than cut or crushed formats.
Can I mix different herbs together?
Yes — herbal blending is a well-established traditional practice. Many traditional Honduran and Caribbean preparations combine multiple herbs for complementary effects. However, not all herbs are compatible, and some combinations may interact. If you’re new to herbal blending, start with well-documented pairings and small batches. For therapeutic blends, consult a qualified herbalist. We can recommend traditional combinations based on our suppliers’ knowledge — contact us for guidance.

6. Documentation, Disclaimers & Privacy
What export and compliance documentation do you provide?
Everything needed for smooth international commercial import: Certificate of Origin (COO), Phytosanitary Certificates (where applicable by product and destination), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Certificates of Analysis (COA) on request, and Commercial Invoices with HS codes. If your market has specific regulatory requirements, tell us before shipment and we’ll prepare accordingly. We’ve been exporting to 23+ countries and understand that documentation requirements vary.
Are there any products that can’t be shipped to my country?
Possibly, depending on your destination. Botanical products are subject to varying import regulations across countries, and some herbs or raw materials may face restrictions under local agricultural, customs, or health authority rules. Before placing a wholesale order or importing for commercial use, we recommend checking with your country’s import authority. We’re happy to advise based on our export experience — contact us before ordering if you have any doubts.
Are Forestal MT’s products intended as medicine or health treatments?
No. All Forestal MT products — Batana Oil, Stingless Bee Honey, and Traditional Herbs — are sold for traditional, cosmetic, and cultural use. They are not medical products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Descriptions of traditional uses reflect historical, cultural, and community practices — not therapeutic or clinical claims.
How do you handle personal data and privacy?
We collect only the information necessary to process your order and maintain our commercial relationship: name, contact details, shipping address, and order history. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties outside of what’s required to fulfill your shipment. All communication is handled through secure channels. For detailed information, contact support@forestal-mt.com for our full privacy policy.
What intellectual property covers Forestal MT’s products and content?
The Forestal MT name, logo, slogan (“Exporting Nature Without Borders”), product names, collection names, and all site content are the intellectual property of Forestal Murillo Tejada S. de R.L. Unauthorized reproduction, resale under false origin, or misrepresentation of our products’ provenance is a violation of our rights. If you’re interested in licensing, partnership, or white-label arrangements, reach out through our wholesale channel.
Are your products tested for quality and safety before export?
Yes — every batch is reviewed for quality before it leaves our facility. Raw Batana Oil and other ingredient-grade products are available with Certificates of Analysis (COA) verifying purity, absence of contaminants, and compliance with international botanical export standards. For specific regulatory compliance requirements in your market, contact us before ordering so we can confirm documentation readiness.
Do you comply with EU cosmetics regulations (EC 1223/2009)?
Our raw ingredient products (Batana Oil, stingless bee honey) can be supplied with documentation to support your EU compliance process, including COAs, MSDS, and ingredient specifications. However, final product compliance under EC 1223/2009 is the responsibility of the EU-based brand or importer placing the finished product on the market, including the Product Information File (PIF) and safety assessment. We work closely with EU-based clients to provide the origin documentation and technical data they need for their regulatory filings.
7. Product Authenticity & Quality
How can I verify the authenticity of Forestal MT products?
Every Forestal MT product ships with origin documentation tracing it back to the specific community and region where it was sourced. Our Batana Oil comes directly from Miskito harvesters in La Mosquitia — not through brokers or intermediaries. You can verify our company registration, export credentials, and community partnerships directly. If you ever have doubts about a product’s authenticity, contact us with your order details and we’ll provide full traceability information.
What quality testing do you perform on each batch?
Each batch undergoes visual inspection, organoleptic evaluation (color, aroma, texture, consistency), and physical property testing appropriate to the product type. For Batana Oil, this includes density and free fatty acid assessment. For honey, moisture content and sensory evaluation. Certificates of Analysis (COA) are available on request for any batch, providing third-party verification of purity and the absence of contaminants, adulterants, or synthetic additives.
Do you offer Certificates of Analysis (COA)?
Yes — COAs are available on request for all ingredient-grade products. Each COA documents the batch number, harvest date, origin, physical and chemical properties, and confirms the absence of contaminants or adulterants. COAs are especially important for wholesale buyers, cosmetic formulators, and companies subject to regulatory requirements. Request a COA at the time of ordering or contact sales@forestal-mt.com.
How do I know my Batana Oil is genuine and not refined or diluted?
Genuine, unrefined Batana Oil has unmistakable characteristics: a deep amber to dark brown color, a distinctive earthy-smoky aroma from traditional Miskito processing, and a thick, rich texture that may solidify in cool temperatures. If a product labeled “Batana Oil” is clear, odorless, or uniformly liquid at room temperature, it has likely been refined, bleached, or diluted. Our oil comes with full traceability documentation, and we can provide COAs verifying purity. When in doubt, buy from the source — not a reseller.
8. For Formulators & Brands
What bulk quantities and formats are available for formulators?
Batana Oil is available from 5 liters to drum quantities (200L), in both traditional unrefined and cold-pressed formats. Stingless bee honey is available from 1 liter upward. Traditional herbs are available from 5 kg per variety in whole, chopped, cut, or crushed formats. All bulk orders include batch-specific origin documentation. Custom packaging, labeling, and format requests are accommodated for recurring wholesale partnerships.
Can you provide technical data sheets for cosmetic ingredient use?
Yes — we provide technical data sheets (TDS) covering INCI name, physical and chemical properties, fatty acid profile (for Batana Oil), recommended usage rates, storage conditions, and compatibility notes. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are standard with every bulk shipment. For cosmetic formulators requiring specific analytical data, we can coordinate third-party laboratory testing on your behalf. Contact sales@forestal-mt.com with your specifications.
Do you offer custom blending or formulation assistance?
We supply raw ingredients and finished products — formulation and blending are handled on your side. However, we can advise on ingredient characteristics, traditional usage patterns, and compatibility based on our deep knowledge of these botanicals. For private label partnerships, we offer our existing finished product formulations (shampoo, conditioner, soap bar) under your brand. Custom formulations require your own cosmetic chemist or contract manufacturer — we supply the raw material with full documentation to support your process.
All product descriptions reflect traditional, cultural, and cosmetic applications. Forestal MT products are not medical treatments and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
