How to Use

Hair Wash

Wet hair thoroughly. Rub the soap bar directly onto scalp and hair in circular motions to create lather, or lather in hands first and apply to hair. Massage scalp for 1–2 minutes. Work lather through to ends. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow with conditioner if desired. Use 2–3 times per week.

Body Wash

Wet skin in shower or bath. Lather soap between hands or use a washcloth. Apply lather to body, massaging gently. Rinse thoroughly. The natural glycerin will leave skin soft without residue.

Face Wash

Wet face with warm water. Lather soap in hands and apply gently to face in circular motions. Avoid eye area. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Pat dry. Use morning and night.

Shaving

Wet skin with warm water. Lather soap generously on shaving area using a brush or hands. Shave as usual. Rinse thoroughly. The natural oils will provide glide and post-shave moisture.

Hand Soap

Keep at sink. Lather between hands with water. Rinse clean.

Extend Bar Life

After each use, place on a well-draining soap dish away from direct water spray. Allow to air dry completely between uses.

Lye Solution

A precise lye (sodium hydroxide) solution is prepared with purified water, measured for exact saponification ratios.

Saponification

Batana Oil is slowly heated and combined with lye solution. The mixture is stirred continuously as it saponifies (converts oil into soap and natural glycerin).

Supporting Oils

Additional plant-based oils are blended in to enhance lather, conditioning, and skin feel.

Molding

The thick soap mixture is poured into traditional molds and allowed to set for 24–48 hours.

Curing

Bars are removed from molds and cured in ventilated racks for 4–6 weeks. This aging process hardens the bars, completes saponification, and develops a mild, skin-friendly pH.

Trimming & Packaging

Cured bars are hand-trimmed, inspected for quality, and packaged in eco-friendly boxes.
