Forestal MT - Echo of Honduras' Landscapes

Meet Forestal MT

From Honduras to the World Stage

Our story begins not in a boardroom, but in the dense, living forests of Honduras, where one family's vision grew into a legacy of authentic ethnobotanical treasures.

Roots in Olancho

History

Our story begins in living forests, not boardrooms. What started as one man's stewardship in Olancho became a family legacy linking Honduras' pine ranges and indigenous territories to global customers who demand authenticity.

Between the 1990s and 2000s, Nery Roberto Murillo Montalván grew stewardship into over 0 hectares of woodland—a responsibility held for future generations. Early years in timber and pine resin taught us forest rhythms, export rigor, and the balance between harvest and regeneration.

When regulatory shifts and market pressures challenged resin, community trust opened a new path: a Batana Oil gift from Miskito partners in La Mosquitia revealed how ancient craft could meet modern wellness.
